Stroke: Real World Cases is an interactive case-based session that challenges providers to move beyond rote recall of stroke screening tools and into real destination decision-making. Participants will compare different stroke assessment tools and learn how they influence transport deicisions. The course defines stroke center designations, clarifies the critical difference between ED divert and specialty/facility bypass, and reviews regional stroke center resources. Real-world case are used to explore assessment failures, cognitive bias, and stroke mimics. Emphasis is placed on getting the right patient to the right hospital the first time.
